Your site looks like it is off to a good start. It will be really helpful when you add either information about how to buy the crochet patterns, or else post the patterns themselves. Hi Heather! Thanks for dropping by. Well, I would certainly love a good source of free patterns too. Maybe you could try the magazines at your local library? Sometimes the crochet magazines do reprint antique patterns, but finding them can be kind of hit or miss. Luckily, vintage crochet patterns and antique crochet patterns are not expensive. Especially lately- I’ve seen sooo many lovely pattern book auctions ending for a song. Many even for less than $5. Good luck with your search.

I am Mary Card’s newest fan. I am researching my family history have just discovered that she was my great-great-great aunt. I am so thrilled! My mother’s maiden name was also Mary Card, yet she had never been told about her namesake. Mum and I are both keen knitters but neither of us crochets. Perhaps this will change as we tap into a new inspiration from our family tree. Thank you for the information on your site.

I am so excited that I find the right person who designs crochet things .I am a new crocheter and hand knitter ,and when I was 7 years old,I learnt knitting from my aunt and then I stopped to get my study at school .Until when I was in college .many girls like knit some carf ,gloves ,cap .I found crocheting and knitting were so interesting .after my graduate,I come to a company which is engaged in making high quality crochet and hand knit clothes and accessories .I am learning more and really love these craft .and I do something crochet and knit at my way, but I do not know how to began my craft life .I am in shanghai China. Can you give some advice to me ?Thanks
